As of right now, I must give this product a half review, I haven’t had a chance to fully use.Therefore, I can’t give a complete review. As far Delivery, I would rate excellent, arriving ahead of projected date. As far as inspection of the product, was as sellers advertised and looks excellent as well. I would recommend this product at this time.
As with all the other "Dummies" books on a particular subject, this book has helped me a lot. I used Office 2003 before and loved it's simplicity. Office 2010 was SO much more complicated, I really felt like HAD to buy it to know what I was doing!!! I wish I had bought Office 2007 software, as friends who have it say it is also much simpler to use than the 2010 version. Of course I didn't find that out until I had invested in the 2010 version!!!
This book is too basic. Nothing I cant learn from just playing around with the program.What I wanted is some instructions on how to do the projects they do on Youtube. Those look AMAZING!!Hopefully you have something like that that I can exchange this for.
Great help for Office 2010 users to get going the right way without problems. It's a little bit technical which is good because the Office programs are not always easy to use. Anyway, I needed this book because I wanted to know more about Windows Excel and I'm glad I purchased it. Even for a simple guy like me it was understandable!
I found the book extremely helpful. Easy to understand although it does skip some of the basics which surprised me since it's a book for self confessed "dummies."The DVD was useless. Too quick too follow. After all, this is a DVD for people that need to learn the basics and this video did not help at all.I'd buy the book again. Skip the package that includes the DVD and save yourself some money.
It’s very useful for those who are computer illiterate.
It is great because it is a book that is for people who don't know terminology or computers very well. It is also a great quick reference for those of us who do. I haven't watched the dvd but looked up a couple of things as workd 2010 is very different, but most of it isn't that different just a little dressed up. Now I want to get into the new office program. Love my computer and like the fact this book helped my mom.
It was a great gift for friend that needed to brush up on their skills.
